Ken has over 15 years experience in training, business development & sales management and obtained Distinguished Trainer Award by HKMA
Ken was the Deputy Head of BD and a Senior Training Manager at a Fortune 500 MNC. He started his career as a Relationship Manager at a well-known retail bank and extended his career path as a sales trainer at a listed financial company. As a high caliber, he was being nominated to companies’ talent programs and had the chance to widen his exposure from various corporate project. This multidimensions background allowed him to understand the key success of an organization, especially in the area of L&D, BD & Strategic Planning.
Ken had developed a series of signature training programs for the companies he worked at. One of them was a recruitment skills program for consultancy team leaders which include mindset change, DISC model application as well as leadership skills.
With his frontline experience and exposure in sales management, Ken is expertise in selling skills, leadership and team building training. His training deliveries are down to earth and popular among sales leaders. In 2019. he obtained the Distinguished Trainer Award by HKMA .His last position was to lead a BD team to manage a new bancassurance distribution channel. Through delivering training, coaching and different initiatives, the sales forces successfully transformed from focusing on short term guaranteed endowment plans to becoming experts in long-term life insurance products. The channel also achieved double-digit growth under the pandemic.
Ken is passionate about L&D and actively participated in related field. He acted as an external consultant for the Asia Pacific Training Council of a global exhibitions and business intelligence MNC. Currently, He is a member of the Education Development Committee of IFPHK.

He completed the 100K Oxfarm Trail Walker in 2017 this was also the year he started hiking
He participated in a Guinness Record running event while he actually does not enjoy running in the past
He speaks poor Mandarin but he delivered a 2 hours training course by practicing Pinyin for a week
Now he is practicing his coaching skills with his son every day to let him know “Map is not the territory”
